Where are the couplings used?

  There are many types of couplings, 2-section, 3-section, high-speed 8Wr/m, low-speed, rubber block, tooth-type, diaphragm, and direct-connected many kinds of couplings are used to connect different mechanisms The two shafts (the driving shaft and the driven shaft) in the mechanical parts that make them rotate together to transmit torque. In high-speed and heavy-duty power transmission, some couplings also have the function of buffering, damping and improving the dynamic performance of the shafting.

 

  The coupling is composed of two halves, which are respectively connected with the driving shaft and the driven shaft. Generally, the power is connected with the working machine by means of a coupling, commonly used aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and 45 steel. The coupling has also developed from the most traditional column box coupling to various types of elastic couplings.
